The Plasma Sword is the signature weapon of Hayato Kanzaki. It is unknown where he acquired this weapon, but he uses it via an unknown school of Kenjutsu, in addition to being able to utilize Plasma Power, which he manifests into a special weapon not unlike the lightsaber of Star Wars fame. Powered solely by his presence as a Plasma Power user, Hayato is said to be able to channel his Power focused and capable enough to slice and cut through any known substance. Hayato is known to utilize Plasma Power to influence the size of his Plasma Blade, including shrinking and enlarging its entire form, as well as concentrating Plasma Power into his Plasma Blade for its output p…
Goldibus
Goldibus - The Ultimate Evil who serves as both the main antagonist of the series and the final boss of the game. Goldibus has two forms, in which his second form is more powerful and that he also has two menacing special attacks, unlike his less ominous first form.
He's capable of telepotation, delayed projectiles, ground waves, and can either draw his opponent in or push them away. His super transforms him into a fiery phoenix that circles around the arena and crashes into the opponent, dealing consecutive and large amounts of damage to them, while making him invincible during the entire move.
His design is inspired by the Great General of Darkness from the Mazinger anime metaseries, combined with Mechanical Beasts from the same series. Voic…
Dixen
Super Defense Armour Dixen - A mecha armed with a Laser Blade, a shoulder-mounted beam cannon, grenades, and three remote-controlled beam guns. It can also switch between a beam rifle and a bazooka. Dixen's Hero Mode enables it to fly around freely and shoot homing lasers. Piloted by either Nakato Farland or Halma Frockheart. Dixen is heavily based on the "real robot" anime franchise Mobile Suit Gundam. Even Dixen's Final Attack is a direct homage to the RX-78-2 Gundam's "Final Shooting" scene, with Dixen even concealing it's head and left arm, which were destroyed on the Gundam in said scene.
The variant "Dixen Experimental" piloted by Shadow Red is the Super Prototype to the Dixen. Gameplay-wise it's more or less the same, but In-Universe i…
Rafaga
Strategic Variable Fighter Rafaga - A transformable fighter, Rafaga can transform from a jet fighter to GERWALK and/or Soldier (mecha) mode. A Macross Variable Fighter in all but name. Armed primarily in its humanoid form with a beam rifle that doubles as a club, missiles, and a punching super move that sinks its fist deep into an enemy's torso, it can optionally equip 2 shoulder-mounted energy weapons and a heavy projectile cannon. Its alt forms give it 2 extra supers: bombs from above and a multi-hit tackle.
While in hero mode, Rafaga gets a support laser blast whenever it transforms, making it safer and easier to pull off. The range is short, however, so it can still be countered by beams. It can also call down the satellite to smash the o…
Diana-17
The Messenger of Beauty and Justice Diana-17 - Diana-17 is a fighting mecha piloted by Reika Amamiya, a student at a girls' academy who is initially the first person to know of Goldibus' plans for invasion in the midst of a war. She tries to gather the other heroes in order to resist the invasion.
Diana-17 is the most overtly feminine mecha in the game, down to heart shaped attacks and beam ribbons. It's fast, equally comfortable fighting on the ground or in mid-air, has a double jump, and can hurl a very damaging energy ball to finish its nasty ground-to-air or air-to-air combos. However, it has relatively light armor and weak attacks. Its Hero Mode grants it an Anti-Missile Barrier.
Its control system is a reference to The Mobile Trace Syst…
