Smurfs' Village is a game for the Apple iOS developed by Flashman Games LLC., formerly Beeline Interactive Inc., a division of Capcom. It is based on Belgian comic artist Peyo's Smurfs franchise.
Gameplay[]
Gargamel destroyed the Smurfs' village, the player must build a new one. The game is free to play, but in-game purchases of Smurfberries cost real money to buy.
Trivia[]
- The game at one point was the highest-grossing app on iTunes, and has received a lot of media attention due to parents being surprised with huge bills. Many parents did not know of the ability to spend money in-game, and with single-item purchases costing as much as $59.99 USD, some children spent hundreds of dollars with a few clicks. Capcom responded by promising to create a warning for parents about in-game fees.
