Shinji Amagishi (天岸 真志) is a former Capcom employee who has served as a sound effect designer since the fifth console generation, sometimes credited by his alias, Amayan. He is most often involved with the Mega Man series, especially the Legends, Battle Network and Star Force sub-series.

He is good friends with Mitsuhiko Takano, both of whom were originally employed by Tose in 1991, a company known for its obscurity regarding staff credits. It was during this time that Amagishi composed some amount of music, distinguishable through the use of many 32nd note slides.

Following Mega Man Star Force 2, Amagishi has since become involved with the Sengoku BASARA series.
