Santana Laurence is a character from the mecha fighting game Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness.

Concept[]
Kinu Nishimura's aim for Santana's design was to make a black male character who was also the most handsome in the cast. It was not a common approach in 1995.[1]
As highlighted by him doing the "Yes I am!" pose in his official illustration, his design is mainly based on Muhammad Avdol from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. His name may come from a certain Pillar Man named Santana, though his hair mostly resembles Kars's.
Story[]
He is a self-centered loner who makes a living scrounging up parts for VA's and sometimes working as a mercenary. In the past, he was the leader of the proud Mars Revolution. Santana knows Shade and Gawaine. He's likely just an old friend of Gawaine, but he fought Shade on Mars during the revolution. He's also a bit of a narcissist and a womanizer. He pilots the RF-004 REPTOS and the BX-04S SWORDSMAN.
