Retu is a Final Fight character in Final Fight 2 and the main villain of the game.
He was the leader of the revived Mad Gear Gang and the final boss of the game. Apparently, Retu attempted to take the place of former Mad Gear head Belger, but failed. He appeared in full kabuki costume with a massive build and long pink hair. He fought against Maki in his dojo in Japan, but was defeated and killed by her. Maki kicked him through the dojo's window, avenging her family. Coincidentally, this was the fate of Belger in the original Final Fight.
Retu's fighting style was similar to Won Won's. He also had a signature move, which seems to be a variation of the spinning kick move Tatsumakisenpukyaku used by Ryu in Street Fighter.
Trivia
- It is quite possible that Sodom orchestrated Retu's rise to power, although this has not been proven.
- Retsu is parodied as one of the bosses of The Simpsons arcade beat-em-up game.
