Masakazu Sugimori

Masakazu Sugimori (杉森 雅和) is a former Capcom employee known for composing the initial entries in the Ace Attorney and Viewtiful Joe series.

In late 2007 he joined former Capcom sound staff members Atsushi Mori (who frequently works with Sugimori), Kento Hasegawa and Masato Kouda in forming DesignWave. Through this company he has written the music for Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective and contributed a track for the Star Onions and the games Vanquish and Otomedius Excellent.

• Sugimori was also the voice of Gou Karuma (known overseas as Manfred von Karma) in the original Japanese version of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.
