Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is a fighting game compilation by Capcom in collaboration with Marvel Games. As the second entry in the Fighting Collection series, following Capcom Fighting Collection in 2022, and soon to be followed by Capcom Fighting Collection 2 in 2025, this compilation commemorates the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise of crossover fighting games and comprises seven arcade titles published by Capcom featuring or starring Marvel Comics characters released between 1993 and 2000. The collection was announced in June 2024 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Windows. The digital version was released on September 12, 2024, while the physical version was released on November 22, 2024.

X-Men: Children of the Atom[]
- Juggernaut and Magneto are now playable. They can be accessed via Game Settings > EX Settings > Hidden Characters.
- Screen flashing can now be reduced. Enable via Game Settings > EX Settings > Light Reduction.
- Note: Affects beginning of rounds, the Continue Screen, and Hyper X activation.
Marvel Super Heroes[]
- Doctor Doom, Thanos, and Anita are now playable. They can be accessed via Game Settings > EX Settings > Hidden Characters.
- Screen flashing can now be reduced. Enable via Game Settings > EX Settings > Light Reduction.
- Note: Affects Magneto during the title demo, Iron Man's entrance animation, and hit animations.
X-Men vs. Street Fighter[]
- Screen flashing can now be reduced. Enable via Game Settings > EX Settings > Light Reduction to turn this on.
- Note: Affects title demo, start of rounds, hit animations, Victory Screen, Continue Screen, and Ending.
Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter[]
- Cyber-Akuma is now playable. Select Solo Cyber-Akuma Battle to access him.
- Screen flashing can now be reduced. Enable via Game Settings > EX Settings > Light Reduction.
- Note: Affects title demo, hit animations, Victory Screen, and the Continue Screen.
Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes[]
- A number of stages have been altered.
- Screen flashing can now be reduced. Enable via Game Settings > EX Settings > Light Reduction.
- Note: Affects title demo, hit animations, Victory Screen, Continue Screen, Hyper Combo animations, and the Headquarters of Evil stage.
Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes[]

The Punisher[]
- Some images used in the ending of the game in the Japanese version have been removed.

Extra features[]
Online play[]
Every game in the compilation is fully playable online, using rollback netcode for stable gameplay. Modes range from casual, ranked and custom matches for the fighting games. Ranked matches reward player with League Points along with changes to their rank on the leaderboards. Custom matches allow a host to create a lobby with personalized rules on a specific game.
High score challenge[]
Players can compete for high scores under specific set rules, in return for increase in rank on the leaderboards.
The Punisher[]
In The Punisher, players may form co-op sessions with each other with the option to exit if preferred, along with the ability to spectate other ongoing sessions. This feature is accessible through the custom match lobby.
Training mode[]
All games in the compilation include a built-in training mode, with features such as input delay, hitbox view and damage numbers. These tools may be toggled at any time.
Marquee cards[]
Each game has the option to display its respective arcade marque card during gameplay, with how to play instructions and character movesets.
Additional options[]
Each games is packed with visuals options for on-screen display, such as filters, screen sizes and borders. Offline mode also contains a feature to save and exit the games, along with game-specific challenges in the form of "Fighter Rewards".
Beginner settings[]
Options are included for configuring one-button special moves and supers for each character in each game. Additionally, players can adjust the difficulty of each game in offline mode.
Gallery mode[]
An additional gallery mode is available for viewing design documentations, concept art, posters and instruction cards, as well as listening to the games' original soundtracks.

Trivia[]
- Prior to August 28, 2024, Norimaro was nowhere to be found in the Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter section of the website, leading many to believe that the aforementioned character would not make an appearance within the collection.
- It was implied on the official website prior to launch that Marvel vs. Capcom would not see the playable appearance of Onslaught from the home console ports.
