G as it appears in Resident Evil 2.
A G-Creature, simply refered as G, is a fictional creature and enemy character from the Resident Evil series of survival horror games.
Description[]
A G-Creature is the failed product of a G-Mutant. A G-Mutant is an animal directly infected with the G-Virus. The G-Mutant is capable of implanting embryos into a host. If the host is not a genetic match, the embryo is rejected, ripping its way through its host and creating a G-Creature. The G-Creature quickly grows into its G-Imago or Adult stage. The G-Creature has similar abilities to a G-Mutant but isn't nearly as agile or dangerous. Successful embryos will result in another G-Mutant.
Only three people are known to have given birth to one of these creatures. These are corrupt RPD Chief of Police Brian Irons, Ben Bertolucci and the rogue Umbrella scientist, Monica Stevens.

G-Larvae[]
G-Larvae are the offspring of an adult G-Creature, usually ejected forcibly from its mouth. A single G-Larva, within close proximity to a human or animal host, will latch itself on to its intended victim in an attempt to impregnate itself within the victim's chest cavity. One of these horseshoe crab sized creatures can be killed easily enough, but a group of them is another matter.
