Damnd

Damnd is a character in the Final Fight series of fighting games, and the first boss the player faces in the original Final Fight.

Brought up in the world of illegal street crime, Damnd makes no excuse for his wretched lifestyle. Once a very prominent Carribean drug lord, his operations were eventually discovered and shut down by the local police force. After being sentenced to a lengthy prison term, Damnd enlisted some of his fellow inmates to help him escape, then fled to America.

His travels brought him to Metro City, where he had little trouble reaffirming his status in the illegal drug trade. Nicknamed 'Thrasher' for his ability to literally thrash his opponents in a street fight, Damnd's efforts soon drew the attention of the Mad Gear Gang, the largest and most ruthless group of criminals in the entire city. Since Mad Gear had connections in all the city's illegal activities, they demanded a share of Damnd's profits while offering him a place of power within the gang. Never one to turn down a lucrative deal, Damnd accepted the offer, becoming a first lieutenant of sorts in the Mad Gear hierarchy. Also, he was ordened to kidnap Jessica, the daughter of Metro City Mayor, Mike Haggar.

The gang's reign of terror lasted three and a half years, until the combined efforts of Cody, Guy and Mike Haggar, along with the Metro City Police Department, obliterated Mad Gear. Damnd was once again hauled off to prison, but before he could be formally charged and sentenced, a mysterious benefactor posted the former drug lord's $100,000 bond. Since getting back to the streets, Damnd has been defeated by Cody and arrested again, but rumor has it that he is plotting to take his revenge on Haggar, when the former mayor least expects it.

Damnd is fond of strawberry sundaes and barbecue ribs.
