Nintendo platforms

A list of platforms Capcom has supported that were manufactured by Nintendo.

Nintendo has been in the console market since 1977, their first console was the Japan-exclusive Color TV-Game, but their first internationally-available console was the NES, which helped rejuvenate the North American video game industry following the 1983 video game crash and has been one of the most successful hardware companies since. It has created numerous major franchises, including Mario, Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, Kirby, Metroid, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Splatoon, Star Fox, Xenoblade Chronicles, and Super Smash Bros. The character of Mario is internationally recognisable, and serves as the company's mascot. The NES is also the first home console to have support from Capcom.
