Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is an upcoming fighting game compilation by Capcom. It is the third entry in the Fighting Collection series, following Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics in 2024. The collection was announced in August 2024 and will be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows sometime in 2025.

Game-specific changes[]
The following section covers changes from the original versions of each game in the compilation, taken from the official website.
Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000[]
- Some stage visuals have been altered.
- Stage music can now be changed in the EX Settings.
- Players may choose from the game's original music or tracks from other Capcom and SNK arcade titles.
Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001[]
- Players can now switch between versions of the game via the EX Settings; selecting Original to play the arcade version, or selecting EO Version to play the Capcom vs SNK 2 EO version.
- Roll canceling into a move does not grant invincibility in the EO version.
- EO-ism and GC-ism cannot be used.
- Evil Ryu, Orochi Iori, Shin Akuma, and Ultimate Rugal are now playable. They can be accessed via Game Settings > EX Settings > Hidden Characters.
- EX Settings include a Same Character Selection option. By enabling it, two or more of the same character can be on the same team.
Capcom Fighting Evolution[]
- Removed some character transformations from Demitri's Midnight Bliss.
- Shin Akuma and Pyron are now playable. They can be accessed via Game Settings > EX Settings > Hidden Characters.
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper[]
- The English version has been built using the Japanese version's data as a base.
- Some stage visuals have been altered.
- Shin Akuma and Final M. Bison are now playable. They can be accessed via Game Settings > EX Settings > Hidden Characters.
Power Stone[]
- The appearance of certain characters during their endings has been changed.
- Kraken and Valgas are now playable. They can be accessed via Game Settings > EX Settings > Hidden Characters.
Power Stone 2[]
- Pride and Mel are now playable. They can be accessed via Game Settings > EX Settings > Hidden Characters.
Project Justice[]
- Changed certain visuals during the story.
- Pre-made Edit Characters can now be used in matches. They can be accessed via Game Settings > EX Settings > Edit Characters.
- Edit Characters cannot be created in game.
Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein[]
- Changed certain visuals during the story.
- Changed the appearance of certain stages.
- Kaede and Rai-on are now playable. They can be accessed via Game Settings > EX Settings > Hidden Characters.
Extra features[]
Online play[]
Every game in the compilation is fully playable online, using rollback netcode for stable gameplay. Modes range from casual, ranked and custom matches for the fighting games. Ranked matches reward player with League Points along with changes to their rank on the leaderboards. Custom matches allow a host to create a lobby with personalized rules on a specific game.
High score challenge[]
Players can compete for high scores under set rules, in return for increase in rank on the leaderboards.
Training mode[]
All games in the compilation include a built-in training mode, with features such as input delay, hitbox view and damage numbers. These tools may be toggled at any time.
Marquee cards[]
Each game has the option to display its respective arcade marque card during gameplay, with how to play instructions and character movesets.
Additional options[]
Each games is packed with visuals options for on-screen display, such as filters, screen sizes and borders. Offline mode also contains a feature to save and exit the games, along with game-specific challenges in the form of "Fighter Rewards".
Beginner settings[]
Options are included for configuring one-button special moves and supers for each character in each game. Additionally, players can adjust the difficulty of each game in offline mode.
Gallery mode[]
An additional gallery mode is available for viewing design documentations, concept art, posters and instruction cards, as well as listening to the games' original soundtracks.
