1980年代初頭からプロレス界は団体乱立時代を迎え、世界各地で大小様々な団体が生まれては消え、肩えては生まれを繰り返していた。 その様な状況下で地道な活動を続けていた8つの団体が手を結び、1つの連合組織を結成した。 それがCWA(CAPCOM WRESTLING ASSOCIATION）である。
1980年代。 空前のプロレスブームで、世界各地に多数のプロレス団体が乱立し、抗争に明けくれていた。 そのような状況下、"マスター・オブ・マッスルボマー"と呼ばれていた初代チャンピオン、ヴィクター・オルテガが率いる連合組織"CWA"として8つの巨大団体が、ひとつにまとまる。
が、ある日突然、オルテガが失腺してしまい、彼を軸としていた萩________れて____び___乱の______を___えた。 その機に乗じて闇の地下組織BWAが動き出す。 このままでは危険と判断したCWA首脳部は『マッスルボマー＝運命の強者たち』をテーマにCWAの新王者を決めるべく、ワールドツアー"クラッシュ・カーニバル"を開催。 運命の強者、マスター・オブ・マッスルボマーを決めるゴングが今、鳴らされる…。

ザラゾフ
もっともスタンダードなプレイヤー。 移動速度、攻撃力が平均的なので初めてのプレイではオススメのレスラー。 ロシアが生んだ若き天才レスラー。 マイク・ハガーのもとで練習生としてコルトと共に汗を流した仲である。
ラッキー・コルト
ザラゾフとほぼ同等の技や強さを持つが、コルトの方が少し足が長い分、キックでは少し有利である。 スラム街育ちのストリートファイターで、現在は人気、実力ともに全米プ口レス界のトップクラスのレスラー。

女好きで有名なコルト氏、またもやジェシカ嬢をめぐって一騒動！ 以前も観客席のジェシカ嬢にちょっかいをだし、となりにいたジーパンの若者と乱闘騒ぎを起こしたばかりだが、美人を見ると白動的にくどいてしまうという困った悪排が、父親と一緒にいた彼女をまたもくどくといった暴挙を引き起こした。 目の前で愛娘をくどかれたハガー市長、リングの外では紳士ーのはずの彼もたまらず鉄拳制_______に！
しかし、当のコルト木人は大して悪びれた様子もなく「これが美人に対するオレ流の礼儀だ！」といっていたという。 「彼は実力もあるし、ルックスもいいんだけどねえ、頭ン中、そればっかだからなあ。少しはザラゾフのストイックさを見習ってほしいよな」とは関係者の弁。
