Bubble Crab
Bubble Crab (or Bubbly Crablos in Japanese) is a character from the Mega Man X series. He is a crab-based Maverick and boss in Mega Man X2. He was a Maverick Hunter serving on the 6th Naval Unit.
Strategy[]
During the battle, Bubble Crab's room has a tide that goes up and down and he raises his claws when trying to jump over him if X never prepares for the battle. Bubble Crab will sidestep like crabs do in real life, walks with a bubble shield and then shoots Bubble Splashes at him. When he has a bubble shield on him, X has to use Spin Wheel to pop the shield. Bubble Crab will also fire mini versions of himself in bubbles. If X shoots them, they home in at him. When there's no tide, the mini versions of him will bounce and he repeats the process. Another strategy is to let Bubble Crab cancel his shield by using Spin Wheel against him to save time.
Trivia[]
- Bubble Crab and Crystal Snail are the only Mega Man X2 Mavericks to not appear in the Xtreme series.
- When in the beginning of the stage with a Sea Canthller, Mega Man X must destroy the platform, slide left and he must use an uncharged Silk Shot at the empty room and he'll receive an instant Life Capsule.
- In Mega Man X5, Bubble Crab's theme is remastered in Duff McWhalen's stage.
